How to determine your gas tube length:

  1. Most barrel manufacturer’s will have this information readily available. Try to find it on your barrel manufacturer’s listing.
  2. Measure the distance from the front of your upper receiver to barrel’s “shoulder”, the sharp change in diameter about halfway down the barrel.
    1. Near 4″ – Pistol
    2. Near 7.5″ – Carbine
    3. Near 9.5″ – Mid-length
    4. Near 12.75″ – Rifle
